Ladoga, Oct 15 - Mr. and Mrs. John Ronk of Ladoga received word Monday evening that their son, Wilbur, who has been working in the ship yards at Newport News, VA had died of pneumonia after an illness of a week. He had been engaged in government work at Newport News for the past two months, having gone there directly from his mom in Ladoga. Wilbur Ronk was 19 years old and was born in Jamestown, where he spent his boyhood. About three years ago he moved with his parents to Ladoga. He leaves besides his parents one brother Walter. The body will be sent to Ladoga and arrangements for the funeral will be made later. - kbz
